WATCH: Trailer of our MOOC

Our project members collaborated to create an interdisciplinary Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on “African Contributions to Global Health” for FutureLearn running from 28th February 2022.

We also offer a blended-learning course based on our five-week MOOC at the University of Basel during the spring term 2022. This course learns from Africa and shows what the continent has contributed to Global Health. It offers a unique Africanist perspective and insights into different disciplines such as public health, urban planning, and history. Learners acquaint themselves with various tools, methodologies and theories and benefit from experts at the Swiss TPH, EPFL, History Department and their African partners. Thereby learners familiarise themselves with innovations that benefit public health not only in Africa but in other parts of the world or globally.
