Bassirou Bonfoh is the Director of Afrique One-ASPIRE at the Centre Suisse de Recherches Scientifiques en Côte d’Ivoire (CSRS). He holds a DVM and a PhD in epidemiology, has extensive experience in North-South science diplomacy, and has worked on One Health initiatives in the Horn of Africa, West Africa and Central Asia.
Jacinta Victoria Muinde is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Health and Society, University of Oslo. She holds a PhD in social anthropology and is currently researching social protection, “universal” healthcare schemes and informal networks of care in Kenya as part of the ERC-funded project ‘Universal Health Coverage and the Public Good in Africa’.
Ruth Prince is Associate Professor in Medical Anthropology at the Institute of Health and Society, University of Oslo, and has conducted ethnographic research on HIV/AIDS and cancer in Kenya for many years. She currently leads the ERC-funded project ‘Universal Health Coverage and the Public Good in Africa’ and is also starting a new collaborative project ‘COVID-19 and the Kenyan Health System’.
Jürg Utzinger is the Director of the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH) and Professor of Epidemiology at the University of Basel. He specialises in the epidemiology and integrated control of neglected tropical diseases as well as health impact assessments in low- and middle-income countries, and has ongoing projects in China, Côte d’Ivoire, South Africa and Tanzania.
