We are very happy to announce that Swiss TPH PhD candidate Doris Osei Afriyie successfully defended her dissertation this past week. This makes her the first doctoral student from our project team to complete her research. We congratulate her warmly and wish her all the best for her future career!

In her doctoral thesis, Doris Osei Afriyie discusses the relationship between health insurance and quality of care in low-and-middle income countries. Her research examines health insurance and quality of care through case studies in Tanzania and Zimbabwe to understand the implementation of national health insurance programs there.
